I received an email from someone who wanted to thank everyone for the stories this year. Although she wasn’t able to post her comments directly, I wanted everyone to read them, so I’m posting it here:
This probably isn’t the correct place to say this but I’m not very good with WordPress etc. I just wanted to thank you and all the contributors to the Holiday Exchange. The stories have kept me amused during my covid isolation, I haven’t caught the virus but everyone else who attended our big family post Christmas get together has, I’m literally last woman standing!
As you can imagine it’s been a bit tedious and stressful, worrying about the others and wondering when I would test positive. Not going out reminds me of being confined to quarters when I was in the Navy, I wish I’d had such entertaining stories to read then. Well I won’t bore you anymore I just wanted to say a big thank you, I’ve enjoyed all the stories from all the years they have kept me going.
Many many thanks
Andie
I’m adding my thanks to everyone who participated, this year and all the years past. In case you ever wondered whether it was worth the effort, I hope you can see how much your words and pictures and puzzles and song (and everything else!) have touched people out there. It’s been a tough time, and you all sharing your work and encouragement have meant so much to me and many others. So mahalo nui loa (thanks very much) to all the contributors, and also to the commenters like Andie, who inspire us to keep sharing.
Wishing all of you and healthy and happy 2022! ๐ค ๐ฅณ
Echo. Ditto. Thank you all you readers who comment, leave kudos, or thumbs up and the like. It’s nice to see our work appreciated and our characters loved by others. Thank you also to our writers. I’ve been blessed to have family around and visit through the holidays, but even so the days run long with the same faces every day and needs unfulfilled. You TTWDers know what I’m talking about. And as much as it is a blessing to write, I absolutely love reading everyone else’s stories, poems, and whatnot. And I adore the art (especially spanking art ๐). So, hugs to all, and may 2022 give you all the spankings you deserve – – uh, I mean desire.
Happy New Year, Alyx! I love your Holiday Exchange and really enjoy getting to read the stories everyone contributes. I really wanted to contribute this year, but I kind of lost my motivation to finish my story. Perhaps Iโll have it complete for Christmas 2022 though ๐ That should be enough time ๐ค
Happy New Year, Amanda! No worries, I can totally understand how tough things were this year. I barely made it myself! ๐ But I’m happy to hear you enjoy everyone’s contributions, and yes, it would be awesome to read a story from you next year! (Let me know if I should ask someone to help “motivate” you to finish. ๐ )
๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ Me! Me! Me! I’ll do some motivating! Jk, Amanda ๐.
๐๐
When you say โmotivateโ you mean like offering cookies, right? ๐ค
I think she must do. You’re too ๐๐ for anything else.
I think cookies and milk and a hug is a wonderful motivation….after a thorough bottom-warming, of course. ๐ ๐
Itโs a new yearโฆ so why not try something new and give the cookies and milk and hugs ONLY ๐๐๐
But more milk and cookies and hugs for me because I have been super well behaved all Christmas and Amanda’s just shown up so it’s just not fair for me not to get more of the milk and hugs and cookies!
Oh, don’t worry, there’s always plenty to go around! ๐
Hm, cookies and milk and hugs WITHOUT spanking?? What a novel idea! It doesn’t sound like a good practice, but I will definitely give it some thought. ๐ง
โgive it some thoughtโโฆ That sounds like a no ๐๐
Well spotted. ๐
Oh, Amanda… Alyx won’t be warming any bottoms. She’s too soft and fluffy. Trust me, nobody’s in any danger from cuddly-wuddly Alyx.
Ohhโฆ excellent! ๐๐
Taking out my soft, fluffy paddle. *SWAT!* for Woodsy, *SWAT!* for Amanda. *Cuddle* for both. You’re welcome. ๐ ๐
๐ก๐ก Ooohh! My bad! Er… thanks, Alyx
*rubs* That paddle is not soft, nor fluffy ๐ฎ๐ ๐ซ
Totally ouchie, in fact ๐ณ
Time for cookies, I think… eaten standing up
