For those of you who don’t subscribe to my other blog….

There’s a bit of news there, so check it out: AlyxRancher.com blog.

I’m pretty excited to have finally finished my latest story, and I combined it with two previous stories into one book. Because it’s much longer than usual, I am charging more. But you let me know whether you prefer it this way (combined) rather than as separate stories. If it’s separate you can just buy the ones you want (e.g., just the ones you haven’t read before). On the other hand, if you want to have all three stories, it’s cheaper to buy it bundled (c’mon, it’s less than a couple of Starbucks Grande Lattes!).

Oh, and please do read the disclaimer warning about the story, as it contains an element I haven’t written about before. If you do end up purchasing it, thank you as always for your support, and I’d love to hear your comments (here, and a review on Amazon). πŸ™‚

Oooh! Awesome! I haven’t subscribed to your other blog cuz I’m used to wordpress, but I’m gonna sign my email up. That way I get the news straight away and I don’t miss anything! πŸ˜€

    • Alyx says:

The other blog is WordPress too, Ash. It’s just a different template. (One I bought, and I have to say I wish I’d stuck with a free WordPress template! This new one might look fancier, but it’s a pain the butt. And not the fun kind of pain, either! :p )

      • Ash says:

Well I signed up with email now and I did notice it was WordPress because it shows up on my reader now! πŸ˜›
So yeah, now I get updated all the time.

  2. Ash says:

Oh also… I am gonna buy your book, of course! Right away, Boss. Right away. πŸ˜‰

  3. Mil says:

It’s a fantastic new story, Honey. The most exciting of all, for a few reasons. And the best part of finally having your works on Kindle, is I can bookmark all the naughty bits πŸ˜‰

  4. Peachie says:

Wow, great news Alyx! Congrats. πŸ™‚ Just subscribed to your other blog (didn’t know you had to pay for it though) and ordered myself a copy. Can’t wait to read it. Excited.

    • Alyx says:

Hey Peach, I don’t have to pay for the blog, I just had to buy the template to create it. WordPress offers many free templates, but I thought since it was my “professional” blog I would buy one. But a warning to anyone — don’t assume a non-WordPress template will be as easy as the WordPress ones to make changes, etc.! I wish now I’d just gone with a free one — they look decent enough, and work much better.

Thanks for buying the book…looking forward to hearing what you think about it. πŸ™‚

  5. Ash says:

Well I read the new one last night. I skipped the first two and save them for later, because it was way too late to read all of them, but I couldn’t wait for the newest. Phew! It was a good one, Alyx. A little different than what I’ve read from you before, but definitely a good one! I must admit I was a little surprised by the naughty bit, but it was certainly educational! πŸ˜›

    • Alyx says:

Hey Ash, I’m glad to know you liked it. I was thinking of you when I posted the warning, as in my memory it wasn’t something you liked the thought of. (I’m sure you’re not the only one….it’s not everyone’s thing. *g*) And to be honest, I haven’t even tried it myself in RL. πŸ˜€ I’ll let SuperTop be the one with all the racy experiences! *LOL* However if you weren’t totally grossed out, then I must’ve handled it tastefully enough. πŸ˜‰

      • Ash says:

Oh well I’m not a total prude. πŸ˜› I mean yeah, people like different things, but I can read about that sort of “play” without being grossed out. I think it’s all in the wrapping. I have read both good and gross stories with it. I think it’s got part to do with the language used, but also about the relationship between the characters. If they never did anything like it, and then suddenly the top was like “This is your punishment” and the bottom was like “Noo… abort abort…” and the Top did it anyway… THEN I wouldn’t have liked to read about it.

I thought you wrote the scene in a really tasteful way. I must admit though for a while I had no idea what was gonna happen. I was like “What’s in the bowl???”

        • Alyx says:

*LOL* I know you’re not a total prude, Ash! But I did think about you (and others who might share your views), so I’m glad to hear you found it tastefully done. πŸ™‚

      • Peachie says:

Hehehe I was just about to ask you if you had tried it yourself!
I wasn’t grossed out because it was gently and tastefully done. πŸ˜‰ In RL though I wouldn’t know how it feels (never done “back door play” before) but surely it would be VERY uncomfortable, to put it mildly! In fact I was thinking it might cause an … *cough* accident! LOL

        • Alyx says:

Yeah, I suspect it would be uncomfortable….but that’s the point, isn’t it? πŸ˜‰ As for accidents, I’ve never heard of that happening. I suppose you could forestall that by applying an enema, but that a whole ‘nother subject I’d rather not get into! πŸ˜€

          • Peachie says:

Well I assume people wouldn’t write about an accident in a story, or would they?! Just imagine … oh boy LOL. Yeah I’ve read about enema in some spanking stories, and personally it’s not very appealing, not sexy at all. :‑P Other people may think otherwise tho.

            • Ash says:

Agree, Peach! See that is where I draw the line! I once found a story I series I liked online, and I even shared it with Thana and we were both reading chapter by chapter. It was about these women who went to a house on the country side to live with a top so they could learn to behave, and there was plenty of spanking! But then suddenly the top started giving them enemas as punishment too! RUINED the entire thing for me, and the story had such potential.

I know it wasn’t my story and I know the author can do whatever she wants with it, but that annoyed the shit out of me. Eh… pun not intended.

              • Peachie says:

ROTFL annoyed the shit out of you??? That’s such a clever line Ash!
Well it may also indicate the enema in the story was so effective that it even worked on the readers!!! LOL
                Sorry, can’t help it. πŸ˜‰

                • Ash says:

It’s not my fault I come up with these things, I’m a foreigner and an impressionable young lady. *angel face*

  6. Peachie says:

Hi Alyx, great story! I was struck by the way you explored the depth (or should I say complexity?) of ST’s personality by adding a touch of her personal life. Sure she’s a formidable and capable toppy Top (some of her commands gave me shivers) but she’s also very soft and tender, even a bit shy maybe, away from her job. Guess I’m trying to say that she’s not a one dimensional character.
Oh I chuckled out loud when I read that Kody had a flip phone AND did not leave it on most of the time. Sounds familiar (I know you’ve moved onto a smart phone πŸ™‚ but still …lol).

    • Alyx says:

Glad you liked the fact that Emily has a softer side. I was worried about that because Fizzy remarked that she wasn’t as stern as usual in that last tale.

As a matter of fact, I don’t have a smart phone. Where did you get that idea? πŸ˜€ *LOL*

      • Ash says:

I think she must have mistaken your purchase of an iPad for an iPhone. πŸ˜›

      • Peachie says:

Didn’t you say you’d moved onto a smart phone? In one of the threads I think.
Oh well maybe Ash is right! I really need to read things more carefully huh. :‑P

        • Alyx says:

Ash is right, I think you mistook my iPad for an iPhone. (It’s been a journey just trying to learn the iPad! *LOL*) And yes, you should read more carefully! *swat!*

          • Ash says:

Alyx… what is there to learn about using an iPad? Ain’t it just point and drag? πŸ˜› Maybe your journeys seem longer because you have a Luddite on your back, you should dump her on the side of the road. πŸ˜€

  7. Anna says:

I’m so happy you’ve come out with another story. I can’t wait to read it. Would you mind if I wrote a post about the book on my blog, ALyx? It would just be announcing that it’s out and if I can, I’ll try to do a picture of the cover and the link.
    Congratulations, Alyx. Good job!

  8. Anna says:

Peach, I just don’t know the etiquette so I decided to ask first. That’s all…

    • Peachie says:

Oh ok Micah, gracias. It’s probably wiser to ask first tho I guess. :‑P
Although come to think of it, I also announced your new blog on mine and linked it a while ago. You don’t mind eh? πŸ˜‰

      • Ash says:

Two unasked for cents by Ash: If it’s a book that Alyx wants to make sell and make a living off, it’s probably a-okay to give her free advertisement. πŸ˜‰
But yeah, it’s never a bad thing to ask first.

      • Micah says:

Actually , I get a lot of readers from your site Peach. You are famous. 😎

  9. Ellie says:

Waaaa! Spoilers, spoilers everywhere! I was reading your discussion with Ash and Peache and then went all “noooooo!” and came straight to the bottom of the page.

I am in the middle of the third story (more like the almost beginning): out of the three stories, I had only read the Christmas one before. πŸ™‚ The first story brought up for me so many – so many – questions I had not expected and gave me a lot to think about. Thank you for that!

Also I just love your style, Alyx! Congrats on your new book and thank you again! Can’t wait to see how it ends! :3

    • Alyx says:

Whoops, sorry about the spoilers, Ellie! I should’ve thought about that! I’m really happy you hadn’t read the first story before, because that means you got two new stories in the book. πŸ™‚ I’m happy also that you had questions (and hopefully answers) while reading it. I hope you end up enjoying the third story as much. Thanks for the purchase…I do appreciate it! πŸ˜€

      • Ellie says:

No worries Alyx! I actually think it was better to have the spoiler! I was ready to face SuperTop’s evil methods! πŸ˜‚ I am working on the answers, but I’m definitely glad for the questions. I admit I experienced a wild surge of brat-feelings towards SuperTop. I enjoyed the story and thank you again for publishing. Ps. We will know more about her and Kody someday, right? πŸ˜€

        • Alyx says:

A wild surge of brat-feelings towards SuperTop? No doubt she would know how to deal with those! πŸ˜€ Regarding her and Kody, there will definitely be a story (or more than one) which answers that question. I definitely have an arc in mind which gives poor Emily a love life! πŸ˜‰

          • Ellie says:

Oh, that’s great to know, because I definitely want to study my enemy a little better! 😏 I swear I did not expect the amount of conflict I felt with SuperTop while reading your book, it’s never happened to me before. There is just something about her that makes me take the brat-side and want to challenge her. Now that makes me wonder whether her being a fictional character is a good, life-saving thing or a major shame. πŸ˜€ Either way, I will keep both my eyes on her and be ready to catch any further developments!
