Also, looking at the cover you created, I thought to myself that I had always pictured Cassie’s hair being a bit shorter than the hair on the image you used, which led me to realize that for years I’ve been imagining that Cassie sort of looked like a hotter, younger version of Emily Saliers, the blonde, lesbian lead guitar player of the Indigo Girls. ☺️

Y’know, Emily Saliers would make a good model for Cassie, now that you mention it. 😀 I’d always thought of Cassie as a Melissa Etheridge-type myself. *g* But to be honest, I didn’t have a clear picture of either of them in my mind when I first wrote the story, as I tend to concentrate more on dialog and plot than physical details. Which makes it hard when you then have to design a cover! *LOL*
I ran out (ok, not literally) and got a copy. It looks great. I’m impressed that you designed the cover yourself. What a great gift for us this year.

As for the cover, it was a challenge, and I’m just glad it turned out okay. I have Mil and TMT and Fizzy to thank for their input too….they weren’t shy with their opinions, and I am grateful for that! 😀
