I was thinking because Ash’s story was so long it would be easier for her to post it there, but that arrangement works with any sized story/poem. *cough* Umm, Ayx. The countdown is beginning. Only a couple of days left for all to finish their gifts. That includes you too, ya know. If I’m not mistaken, the penalty is a spanking. Sooo….how is your story coming along?
Let’s just say I am under some heavy pressure, Micah. *g* And mine is both too long for a short story, and not developed enough for a long one! *sigh* But never mind, I’m trusting that everyone will overlook the messy wrapping and just be glad to get a present. (I’ve been told I better get it to my beta reader by 9:30 tonight, so pray for me!)
Just post your story already Alyx! Please? No later than tomorrow morning, yes? 🙂
I’m afraid that’s impossible, Peach, as I’ll already be in bed when my beta-reader is working on it, and there is no time before I go to work in the morning. When it goes up depends on how many issues my beta reader finds to correct. (I mean in my story, in my story, you brats! *shaking head*) I will post it as soon as I can, though.

I did write something but after not writing for such a long time and then putting it off through worry of what would go from pen to paper when I did, well lets just say I should have revisited this form of an outlet a while ago as it spans 4 pages on paper and perhaps is too long to post.
Of course it’s not too long! We would LOVE to get a story from you, Bystander, so just wrap it up and send it in, young lady! (Lest you end up end up with a red bottom on Xmas Day. *bg*)
I will attempt to post it in shortly, if only to avoid finding myself “end up” 🙂 however I must apologise in advance. Not so much a story as the outpour of a close persons feelings in a sense. If that makes any sense?
I think that sounds very appropriate for this time of year, and not apologies necessary, By. I’m going to post Bahamagirl’s gift shortly, and she shared some childhood memories of this time of year. So you see, anything goes! 🙂

Uhm. Mine’s coming. I’m not much of a writer though. I quite like your “wrapping” analogy… only mine is an unwrapped box of Lego, where the reader might need to put the pieces together. Which sounds fine, only some of the pieces are Mechano :(.
