I’ve censored it to protect the innocent/guilty, but this is what it said:
Hi Alyx,
I am an evangelist for [Nanny site URL], basically I like to periodically reach out and let you know about content that we have written that may be interesting either to you or your followers. I’ll try not to overwhelm you and encourage you to let me know if I am.
Our latest article is here: (Nanny site URL/how-to-stop-yelling-at-your-kids article). It would be fantastic if you could share it via your blog. We don’t always say it enough but thank you for your time and consideration. We appreciate it greatly!
Thanks again!

So what y’all think? Would my followers be interested in this? Before you get all excited, let me state that there’s nothing about corporal punishment on their site. Yes, I did check. I had to….for your sakes, naturally. 😉
You mean… you’re not an evangelist? I must have taken a wrong turn 😉
That’s funny 😀 Did you reply? Perhaps you could send her one of your stoires as a thank you, say Voice Lesson, then spank her for “overwhelming” you by such lazy research of your blog material.
Something tells me, rascal Mil, that I’d already be preaching to the choir where you’re concerned. 😉
I did reply. I sent her a “ROTFL” and “This must be a form letter and you must not have checked out my blog, because I suspect you’d be horrified.” I got an evil grin thinking about her face when/if she did check it out after reading my reply. 😈
Maybe the evangelists have a kinky side… *giggle*
Btw… what is an evangelist?
I’m quite sure evangelists have a kinky side. *bg*
The term started out referring to religion only. From Wikipedia: “Evangelism is the preaching of the Christian Gospel or the practice of relaying information about a particular set of beliefs to others” in order to convert them to the faith. But nowadays people use it to mean anyone who endorses and tries to educate about a particular subject. Microsoft calls some of their people “evangelists” because they push a particular technology. I think this lady used it to mean she’s a spokesperson for the nanny site, and that she really believes in the value of it.
Lol, someone has walked in the wrong neighbourhood. 😉
Yup, and I’m sure if they bothered to check out my blog, they wouldn’t be asking for my endorsement. Although nannies can be pretty hot. *LOL*
