Which is “Happy New Year” in Hawaiian, of course. And I hope they were good holidays for all of you fellow kinksters out there. As it’s New Year’s Day for me, I’m feeling a bit reflective. 2012 was the best of times and the worst of times in some ways, and yes I know it’s a terribly unoriginal thought, but that’s how it feels.
I posted a lot less last year than I did the year before, and I apologize for that. At the same time, my stats tell me the blog got nearly 110,000 hits in 2012, which is amazing to me. I know that’s the amount that popular blogs rack up in a day, but for my humble little unknown corner of kinkdom, that’s pretty heady stuff! 🙂
I can’t promise there will be more activity in 2013, but considering I held off for the longest time ever starting a blog because I didn’t really think I had anything to say…well, I’m satisfied with my efforts. Even more importantly, I feel very blessed for whatever attention has come my way, thanks to all of you.
And since I know all the brats are going, “Okay, fine fine with the nostalgia and stuff, yadda, yadda, yadda….but where’s the story you promised us?!” I will dispense with further reflection and say yes, there is a new Cassie and Nicky story posted. PAY ATTENTION NOW: I’m posting it in two parts because it is long — one tonight and one tomorrow night. So if you like to read things only when they are complete, come back in a day or so. You’ve been warned. *g*

Yes, we too use “cheers” for “thanks” but not as often as the Brits. We also use “cheers” in a toast where you clang glasses and slosh our drinks together – apparently originating as assurance of not poisoning each other with spiked beverages. Do you not use “cheers” like that too?
Ah yes, that’s the only way Yanks use “cheers,” actually. But if you want a Hawaiian equivalent, that would be “okole maluna”…..”bottoms up”! 😉
And aaages later the story arrives! To think that I actually didn’t die from the lo(OoOoOooOoo)ng wait is pretty amazing!

But to answer your perfectly understandable foot stomp *well-placed swat for that* I am very much hoping that it won’t take another age before I post again. I have to say I haven’t quite solved the writer’s block problem, but I do want to try to keep barreling through and share all the stories I have in the queue, at least.
I value all the patience and support and teasing words and even the tantrums….it’s all encouragement because I know it means you all care. So thank you for being there for asking for more. It really makes me feel very blessed. *hug* 🙂
