Mele Kalikimaka me ka Hau`oli Makahiki Hou

I meant to post this earlier, but the craziness of the holidays has overtaken me (as usual *sigh*). I really could do without the busy rushing around, the shopping (especially the horrible parking lots!), and the idiot radio stations that play Xmas songs starting from after Halloween. But I actually like Xmas carols….from about 3 days before Xmas. Here is my favorite arrangement of one of my favorite songs: O Holy Night. Enjoy. πŸ™‚

Thank you wonderful readers who have sent me such warm wishes the whole year through. I treasure each and every one of you. I’m hoping the “Year of Medical Procedures” has passed, and next year will be a new and exciting one. I hope for joy and laughter and love and interesting challenges for you all. And for lots of kinky smut, of course. πŸ˜‰

I love that version. Wish the mainland radio stations played it in their rotations instead of repeating either a) Bing Crosby’s White Christmas or b) Mannheim Steamroller’s Carol of the Bells every half hour. πŸ˜€

Mele Kalikimaka to you too – may next year be the Year of Health and Prosperity. πŸ™‚ (and kinky smut.) Oh speaking of – I just reread Season’s Heatings and had forgotten how adorable and funny it is. I highly recommend it to all the brats and tops as a fun Alyxfic holiday tradition. Like The Night Before Christmas, with spankings. hee

Thank you for the compliments on that story, my sweet brat. And it doesn’t surprise me that Noelle’s naughtiness would appeal to you. (Or maybe it was the thought of stern sexy Kris? πŸ˜‰ ) Have a wonderful holiday and best wishes for the New Year! *cuddle*

  2. Merry Xmas, Darling. At least you don’t have Druids in Hawaii to drag you out before dawn just so you can stand naked and shivering on a Holy Hill, wondering just how catching a cold pleases the Pagan Pantheon? (*cue cries of ‘this is pants!’ Followed shortly by ‘Where are my pants, by the way?’ Followed even more shortly by, ‘Thief! you are wearing my pants!’* Why do you think the ‘well-dressed’ Druid is a) usually nine-sheets-to-the-wind on mead and b) usually attired in a bed-sheet? )

May the year bring you warmth and tenderness, hours and hours of hot kink and love, love, love.

    • Alyx says:

*LOL* Ah, sweetheart, the thought of all those naked Druids in the cold (certain parts shrunken [the ones I’m not interested in *g*] and certain parts perked up) definitely puts a smile on my face! Were you among them, Aer? Now THAT’S a warming thought! πŸ™‚

Wishing you much love and joy during the holidays and during the coming year. And if you happen to write more stories, I’m sure no one will complain! πŸ˜‰ *cuddle*

Bugger it!! Fizzy beat me, thought I was going to be first here for once..never mind, maybe next year.
I totally agree with you Alyx. Traditional Christmas carols are lovely, even though I’m not at all religious. Silent night has always been my personal favourite, and there’s just something magical about little kids all dressed up singing Away in a Manger…never fails to bring a tear to my eye!

I wish you and all your readers a very Happy Christmas and I hope 2012 is the best year ever!!

p.s I’ve got a funny feeling you like to overindulge sometimes, but try not to get too pissed on Christmas day, otherwise you’ll be joining me on the wagon in January…and that’s no bloody fun at all!!

    Have a great holiday Alyx.
    sandy

    • Alyx says:

Mmm, I love Silent Night too. You were actually third in line, Sandy. Must be the horrible hangovers slowing you down, eh? πŸ˜‰ Nevermind, I am always glad to see your smiling face! Happy holidays and a wonderful New Year! *hug*

  4. Loki says:

Merry Christmas Alyx πŸ™‚ Here’s hoping next year is the year of perfect health and many well deserved spankings. And candy. And horse rides. And kittens. And possibly balloons. And extended holidays. And world peace and like such as.

    • Alyx says:

Thank you for the warm wishes, Loki! (And I do like your priorities, btw.) I hope you’re right about perfect health next year. I have to say the end of this one is kicking my butt. *sigh*

But I do wish the same for you: Happy Holidays and a really great New Year. I hope you and your loved ones were okay after the earthquakes?
