Okay, so everyone knows Loki Renard, right? The “Doctor of Spanking”? The Mistress of Kink? The one who writes kick-ass F/F discipline and even some M/M discipline now. THAT Loki.
Anyway, so she just completed another story in the Bucket series. Woo-hoo! It just blew my socks off. Really excellent and a complete surprise in so many ways. (It also left me scratching my head as to what’s going to happen next, but that’s beside the point. *g*) I think we should all keep buying her books so she has time to slip in freebies like this one. 😀
If you love it as much as I do, please be sure to let her know. I think that the fact that she wrote it in less than two hours was a bit of bratty showing off, but I will overlook that just because it’s such a brilliant tale. 😉

When you consider that the Lord of the Rings series was written over the course of a short weekend*, one can see how much more time was expended, per word, into this story.

Aw thank you SP 😀 As you say, it is Ayx’s turn next, so it is her decision as to how they get out of things. Though I must say, I have never seen a brilliant bold escape met with such timidity. Imagine if, at the end of Shawshank Redemption, instead of standing the rain, arms outstretched to freedom, Andy Duphraine had muttered about the inconvenience of it all 😉

Freedom is a truly wonderful thing, at least until Callie discovers that the real world is just as much of a prison as The Bucket. I pity poor little Loki when that happens!
As for the next chapter, Loki can you please, please maybe spare an hour or two and help out. I know It’s technically Alyx’s turn, but she’s still floating about, scratching her napper five days later!!

Y’know, I’ve wondered that meself, Sandy. And to be honest, I’ve decided to take a break and not post any new stories for awhile. You (*hug*) and a handful of others are loyal readers who show their appreciation, but otherwise I think my stories are taken for granted these days. It’s human nature — when something is free it’s not as valued. But I’ll be back in a bit…after a break. Oh, and I do still plan to post blog observations occasionally. In fact I have a bunch more hilarious search words to put up one day! 😀
Please don’t think you’re taken for granted, Alyx…You’re site is the one I went to over and over again for a couple of years before I finally took the plunge and delurked…it was because of your stories and your great sense of humor that made me feel safe enough to come out and say HEY…Thank you for that, boss lady…

It’s definitely not the done thing to go about writing other people’s chapters for them, we will have to be patient, you do know that the most wonderful things percolate in Alyx’s mind when she is left to do things in her own time.
